“Skelly” has “lived”with me for near on 35 years both here in Portugal and in the UK. It is a female African skeleton dating around 1910 with excellent bone structure but a few problems with the dentition (as seen on the photograph). It has a spinal anomaly called sacralisation of the fifth lumbar vertebrae. In other words it has only four lumbar vertebrae and six sacral vertebrae. It is fully articulated and comes with a mounting ring above the cranium.
