The Lengthening Shadow of Dr Andrew Taylor Still
A.G. Hildreth. Macon, Missouri. 1942. Second edition. There is no material difference between the first and second edition aside from one page, a Preface to the Second Edition, in which it states there is no difference. In reality the Second Edition is in effect the second printing but the terms edition and printing have often been used interchangeably. In any event this is a memoir of the early days of Osteopathic Medicine. The author. Dr. A. G. Hildreth was one of the first students of Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, who developed natural methods of healing called osteopathy and is considered the founding father of Osteopathic Medicine. This edition is in excellent condition except for my clinic stamp on first page. Again this book has been with me for over 30 years and has been one of my treasured possessions.
